What better way to experience the spirit of the Wild West than with an authentic Wyoming rodeo? Thankfully, Rock Springs and Green River play host to several rodeos throughout the year, where you can watch talented cowpokes participate in local or regional competitions. From saddle-bronc riding to barrel racing and everything in between, these competitors demonstrate the unique skills often needed on ranches across the West.

National High School Rodeo Finals

If there’s one event rodeo fans should add to their calendar it’s the National High School Rodeo Finals. Hosted in Rock Springs, this event gathers top-performing high-school rodeo stars from across the United States, Canada and Australia. The Sweetwater Events Complex in Rock Springs has hosted the National High School Rodeo Finals for several years and will is proud to host them again in July 2025.
