Visit the Community Fine Arts Center (CFAC) in downtown Rock Springs to see a large collection of 20th century and contemporary American art as well as rotating displays by local and regional artists. In addition, the center offers several performances and classes throughout the year. The gallery is free to the public as part of the county library system and a local artists' gift shop helps support an annual scholarship for a high school senior. Come in for the view! Visitors can schedule individual or group tours free of charge.

On the corner of Elk and North Front Streets, visitors will stumble upon "Pronghorn," a painted mural by Dan Toro. The Rock Springs mural depicts wildlife from Wyoming's diverse landscape including a coyote, snake, rabbit, and bird.

From July through September, Rock Springs' Main Street comes alive for the weekly farmer's market. The Main Street Market hosts a variety of local and regional vendors selling fresh produce, artisan goods, and homemade crafts every Thursday evening from 4PM to 7PM. Admission to the market is free.

Inspired by the history of Green River, the "Spirit of the Wild" mural, painted by KEY DETAIL, features wild horses, a railroad and the namesake river. This vibrant mural was completed in 2018 and brings a burst of color to downtown Green River.

Step into Southwest Wyoming's past at the Sweetwater County Historical Museum in Green River. Visitors can learn about American Indians, pioneers and other historical figures throughout numerous exhibits. The museum is located in a historic post office building dating back to 1931.
